Ranking Member Thompson Statement on Antisemitic Attack at the Capital Jewish Museum
(WASHINGTON) – Today, Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS), Ranking Member of the Committee on Homeland Security, released the below statement on the tragic antisemitic attack at the Capital Jewish Museum last night:
“Today our thoughts are with the families of the victims of this terrible tragedy. The full force of the FBI must quickly and thoroughly investigate this senseless attack. I pray the FBI still has the manpower, expertise, and resources to do so. We must stand together to root out antisemitism and antisemitic violence, which we know are on the rise. And we must also ensure the Federal government is focused on preventing targeted violence of all types.”
